Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how walletissuer ("walletissuer," "we," "us," or "our"), operated at walletissuer.com, handles information when you use our website, dashboard, and APIs (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Account data. Name, email address, password (stored hashed), and workspace details you provide when you sign up or manage your account.
- Pass and content data. Pass designs, fields, barcodes, images, and related metadata you submit so we can create, host, update, or revoke wallet passes.
- Usage and technical data. API usage counts, approximate timestamps, IP addresses, browser or client type, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics on our marketing and product pages to understand traffic and product usage (for example pages viewed, approximate location, and device/browser type). Google may process this data under its own terms; see Google's Privacy Policy.
- Billing data. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processors may collect payment method and billing details on our behalf. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
2. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service (including issuing and updating passes);
- Authenticate users, enforce plan quotas, and prevent abuse;
- Communicate about account, security, and product updates;
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with infrastructure and payment providers that process it solely to run the Service (for example hosting, storage, email, and payments), and when required by law or to protect rights and safety. Pass delivery may involve Apple, Google, or other wallet platforms according to your configuration and their terms.
4. Retention
We retain account and pass data while your workspace is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backups, disputes, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; some residual logs may remain as required for security or compliance.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures appropriate to a SaaS product (encryption in transit, access controls, hashed passwords). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please protect your API keys and credentials.
6. International processing
We may process data in the United States or other regions where our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to those locations.
7. Your choices
You can update account details in the dashboard, rotate API keys, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable under local law.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
